Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
Matthew 19:14
It is abundantly clear from the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:1-6 & 19:13,14 that children are greatly loved by our Lord! What would a church be without children? One of the great blessings and responsibilities God gives to us as a community of believers is to model faith and godliness for our children while instructing them in the ways of the Lord.
While we believe it is the primary responsibility of the parents to instruct their children in the Christian life, it is our desire at New Hope to help strengthen and support families, as well as to provide spiritual nurturing for children, who for various reasons, have little opportunity to learn about God. We do this in the following ways:

We do this in the following ways:
Worship
Each child will get a chance to worship together with their families for the first two songs of our service, and then will worship together in their various classes after they are dismissed.
Care
Loving care is provided for children who are of nursery and toddler age
Instruction
With a strong emphasis on the importance of God’s truth in our lives, Sunday School classes are provided for ages preschool through 5th grade, and are taught by dedicated teachers and helpers using quality teaching material. We also have youth Sunday school on the 2nd & 4th Sundays for grades 6-12.
Prayer
Each Sunday, congregational prayer is offered for our children; throughout each week, our families are prayed for by our church leaders and prayer team
Protection
As we implement ministries at New Hope, we seek to encourage family members to find a balance between serving at church and spending time at home. We want families to spend quality time together with parents discipling their children in their spiritual walk.
Nursery (Ages 0-2)
Our Nursery ministry cares for the youngest in our church with the love that God has for His children. We begin our services with worship together and midway through our worship time, nursery kiddos are dismissed. Our nursery is located on our main floor.

6th - 12th Grade
Our 6th through 12th graders meet every on the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Sundays of each month in an upstairs classroom where they deepen their faith through bible study, teaching, and discussion groups. Youth Sunday School happens every other week because we want to encourage our teenagers to serve and connect with the greater church body as they grow in Christ.
